Dream Hunts For Heroes Program
Dream Hunts' flag-ship program is called Dream Hunts For Heroes, which is specifically dedicated to helping veterans with life-changing disabilities return to the outdoors through planned special events, primarily in the hunting and shooting sports. The constant media coverage on the war on terror, it's hard to miss seeing troops being deployed or hearing about troop draw-downs, casuaulties, the number of wounded, suicide bombers and IEDs. We begin to witness the challenges returning troops face with life-changing disabilities. Soldiers, who never imagined living the remainder of their lives as amputees, parapalegics, with spinal-cord injuries or PTSD and traumatic brain injuries, now find themselves facing a new battle of trying to live a life of normalcy once again. Things we take for granted are now constant struggles for our veterans as they are learning to cope and return to everyday life.
No matter the nature of a sportsman's disability, our goal is to offer the highest quality hunting experience possible.
