Location
A particularly interesting aspect of the Dream Hunts Program is the geographical location. Alabama and Georgia are separated by the Chattahoochee River; the dividing line of the two states. While both states are in the "black belt " farming region, known for its nutrient rich and fertile soils conducive for agriculture and farming, both states have entirely different Whitetail Deer rutting seasons. (See images below) Basically what this does is give us an extended rut from November and December in Georgia, that is expanded until the close of hunting season, January 31st in Alabama.
Being able to offer a (3) month window of rut hunting is a phenomenal feat, "There's professional guide services and outfitters that can't make that claim" says Bill Burns, Director and Founder of Dream Hunts Inc.
"We are particularly excited about having property in such close proximity to each other in two states; both areas are known for producing exceptional bucks with impressive head gear. These both have generous state game laws that allow either sex harvest. You definitely need to bring a cooler with you due to abundance of deer,hogs and spring turkey. While their is no guarantee of success with fact that we are a 'fair-chase' supporter, we will do our best to make it a 'hunt of a life' to remember." All hunting activities are offered free of charge.
